Thinking beyond the website

It seems that many companies are catching up with current web marketing trends. Rather than being 5-6 years behind the curve, they are only a year or two behind the curve in some cases. In fact, many companies I work with are starting to think beyond the web site — that is, thinking about how to promote their brand in other interactive channels.

Greater Richmond Partnership redesign launches

Last week, we launched the newly re-designed Greater Richmond Partnership web site. The Greater Richmond Partnership is a smart group of people that are very important to the area economy and job market. Their purpose is to attract domestic and international businesses that are expanding or relocating. Once businesses relocate or expand here, the GRP has a great retention program to keep businesses thriving. They represent the City of Richmond and the surrounding counties of Chesterfield, Hanover and Henrico.

Putting a price tag on development for IE 6

I read a terrific blog post recently at QuirksMode called ‚”State of the Browsers — IE edition.” Aside from predicting the future usage of IE browser versions, the article called for web developers to charge extra for IE 6 support.
