		<description>You have many good suggestions here.  I agree that it&#039;s important not to rush to Photoshop, and your first point on leaving enough time to analyze is extremely important.  

I&#039;ve been thinking about planning large site redesigns recently (it&#039;s nice to hear that your recommendations are based on large sites as well), and would suggest that a couple other areas to to concentrate on are creating a compelling vision for the migration and to consider the people / process impacts that will occur on large site changes (also see http://ow.ly/vemT).</description>
